11 July 2011

One more week of holiday for most of us, and then we are back to school on 18 July: Day 1 of Week 1.

UCT MATHS OLYMPIAD…. THE LONG AWAITED RESULTS HAVE ARRIVED

We are extremely proud of our learners for doing exceptionally well in this year’s Mathematics Olympiad. Out of our school’s entrants, nine learners achieved merit awards, which is a great improvement since the last Maths Olympiad in which only two of our learners achieved merit awards. It seems as if our learners are now getting the hang of it. The competition was tough but they coped very well.

Amazing job guys and girls!

These are the learners who made us PROUDLY PLUMSTEAD:

  • MIKAEEL HENDRICKS (UCT PRIZE WINNER)
  • SHANE FORBES
  • LUQMAAN SALIE
  • SAEEDA BENJAMIN
  • MICHEAL PINTO
  • SHAHISTA HASSEN
  • TRACY WARD
  • LAMONT JENKINS
  • FABIAN FISHER (not on photo)
